Scholarship

The Santa Fe Police Officers Association (POA) Scholarship is a newly established opportunity designed to support and encourage the academic aspirations of local high school seniors. This scholarship, valued at $1,000, is available to graduating seniors from Santa Fe High School and Arcadia First Baptist Christian School who demonstrate outstanding dedication to their education and future endeavors.

To be considered for the scholarship, students must submit a two-page essay on a topic of their choice. Essay submissions should be sent to the email address listed on the flyer by May 1st. Information about the scholarship has been shared with school counselors at Santa Fe High School and Arcadia First Baptist Christian School to ensure eligible students are aware of this opportunity.

The selection process will be conducted by a three-person committee, which will carefully review all submitted essays and nominate a deserving recipient based on the content and merit of their application. This initiative reflects the Santa Fe POA’s commitment to investing in the success of young individuals within the community, reinforcing the importance of education, leadership, and civic responsibility.

As this is the inaugural year of the Santa Fe POA Scholarship, it marks the beginning of what we hope will become a growing and impactful program in the years to come. With continued success and community support, there is potential for the scholarship fund to expand, offering even greater opportunities for students in the future.

By providing this financial assistance, the Santa Fe POA aims to empower students in their pursuit of higher education and career goals, recognizing the hard work and dedication they have demonstrated throughout their high school journey.
